Purchasing / Procurement

Purchasing performs a number of functions to support the operations of the Clerk’s office. This includes procurement of equipment, supplies and services necessary for all work sections to operate in an organized, efficient and cost effective manner. The Clerk & Comptroller also serves as the Purchasing Officer for the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners; ensuring that the Board’s purchasing policies are met.

We also assist the Board of County Commissioners in preparing RFQ’s, RFP’s, and Public Notices. We assist the Board with advertisement of these notices and ensuring they are placed on the proper websites.
